BabySense V utilizes a highly sensitive motion detector technology that is incorporated into sensor pads. When the pads are placed under the infant’s / baby’s mattress, it constantly monitors the infant’s / baby’s slightest movements or motions. If movement stops for 20 seconds or if the monitor detects less than 10 micro-movements per minute, an alarm sounds, and a parent or caretaker will know to come to the aid of the infant /baby.

How it Works
BabySense V utilizes patented technology that allows the sensor to detect baby’s movements, even imperceptible movements when they are sleeping deeply. A high-speed microprocessor control unit captures motion patterns.

1) Place sensor pads on a hard surface underneath the mattress. Use one sensor pad for infants, and connect the second pad for complete crib coverage when the baby starts moving around.

2) The monitor is battery operated, with a hanger to hang on the crib. There is a low battery indicator light, which needs to be replaced in approximately 6 months.

3) The green light on the monitor indicates that the sensor is picking up movement. With every slight movement, the green light flashes, and can clearly be seen from a distance.

4) If there is no movement for 20 seconds, or if it detects less than 10 micromovements per minute, an alarm sounds and the red light flashes.

5) BabySense monitors and alerts, but does not prevent any type of distress. It does alert to a problem, and provides critical time to intervene.
